Terms & Conditions
The basis on which Bequesta's educational programmes are offered
Last updated: June 2025
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all persons who access the Bequesta website at bequestaj.world or who attend, register for, or enquire about any educational programme offered by Bequesta. By using this website or participating in our sessions, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Bequesta
Bequesta is an educational organisation based in Bangkok, Thailand. We offer information seminars, cataloguing workshops, and business continuity programmes related to estate organisation and record-keeping. All content is educational in nature.
Our programmes are designed to help individuals and organisations understand how to organise records and structure internal processes. We do not provide professional advice — legal, financial, or otherwise — and our facilitators are not acting in any advisory capacity.
2. Nature of Our Services
All programmes offered by Bequesta are purely informational and educational. Specifically:
- We present general organisational frameworks, not tailored professional guidance.
- Session content is not a substitute for obtaining qualified legal, financial, or professional counsel.
- Participants remain fully responsible for any decisions or actions taken following attendance at our programmes.
- Bequesta does not act as an agent, executor, or representative in any personal or business matter.
Nothing presented in our sessions or on this website constitutes professional advice of any kind, and no attendee-facilitator relationship creates any duty of care beyond the educational context of the session itself.
3. Eligibility
Our programmes are intended for adults aged 18 and over. By registering or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Bequesta reserves the right to decline registration where eligibility is not met or where attendance would be inappropriate for the programme's educational context.
4. Registration and Enrolment
Registration for Bequesta programmes is confirmed upon receipt of payment and a written confirmation from our team. Submitting an enquiry form does not constitute a confirmed booking.
Programme places are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to insufficient enrolment, circumstances outside our control, or other reasonable operational reasons. In such cases, we will notify registered participants as early as possible.
5. Fees and Payment
Programme fees are listed on our website in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of all session materials described in the programme outline. Payment terms and accepted methods will be confirmed at the time of registration.
Fees are non-refundable except where a session is cancelled by Bequesta. If a participant is unable to attend, we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling to a future date of the same programme, subject to availability.
6. Programme Materials
Take-home checklists, inventory templates, and facilitation materials provided as part of a programme are for the personal or internal use of the attendee only. These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or sold without prior written permission from Bequesta.
7. Conduct at Sessions
We ask all participants to engage respectfully with facilitators and fellow attendees. Bequesta reserves the right to ask any participant to leave a session if their conduct is disruptive or disrespectful. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Bequesta website — including text, design, structure, and original materials — remains the intellectual property of Bequesta. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of this website or our programme content without written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Thai law, Bequesta, its employees, and facilitators shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from:
- Reliance on information presented in our educational sessions or on this website.
- Actions taken or not taken following attendance at a programme.
- Any errors or omissions in programme content, which is general and educational in nature.
- Technical interruptions to website access or online communication.
Our total liability in any matter related to our programmes shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant for the specific session in question.
10. Third-Party Links and Resources
Our website may reference or link to external resources for general information. Bequesta does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party website.
11. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your data.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website or participation in our programmes following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or our programmes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
